How expats usually start: a video call
Most of our international clients don't walk in cold. We start with a video consultation: you tell us what you're after, we show you diamonds and settings on camera, close up, in real daylight, not a studio filter. You can screen-share renderings, ask questions in real time, and take your time before deciding anything.
If you're already in Zurich, or flying in for the proposal itself, we're happy to see you at the atelier instead. Either way, nothing is rushed and nothing is decided on the call alone. We follow up with photos, a written quote and a clear next step.
No fine print, explained in plain English
Carat, colour, clarity, cut: the 4Cs sound like jargon until someone actually explains them. We do that in plain English, without steering you toward the most expensive combination. You'll understand exactly what you're paying for, and where you can save money without the ring showing it later.
The same goes for certificates. IGI and GIA reports look intimidating at first glance, a grid of numbers and diagrams. We walk you through what actually matters on the page, so you can read one yourself the next time, wherever you are.

No. Plenty of our international clients do everything by video call and post, from the first conversation to sending a certificate and photos before the ring ships. Visiting the atelier is welcome but never required, especially if you're ordering from abroad or only in Zurich briefly.
We book a call at a time that works for your time zone, show you stones and settings on camera in real daylight, and share renderings on screen. You can ask questions as we go, take screenshots, and think it over afterwards. Nothing is decided or charged on the call itself.
Yes, we can ship finished rings internationally with tracked, insured delivery. We tell you the cost and expected timeline upfront, and flag any import duties or paperwork you might face on your side, so there are no surprises when the parcel arrives.
Every price we quote already includes Swiss VAT of 8.1%. If you're exporting the ring yourself, for example flying home with it, export formalities apply at customs and you may be able to reclaim the VAT depending on your situation. We explain the paperwork so you know what to expect.
Yes. A lab-grown diamond has the same crystal structure, hardness and sparkle as a natural one, just grown in weeks instead of formed over millions of years underground. It comes with its own independent certificate, usually IGI, and costs noticeably less for the same size and quality.
Yes, that can be arranged, just mention it during the consultation. We'll find a payment plan that fits your budget and explain the terms openly before you commit to anything, so there are no surprises on the final invoice.
Not at all. If you're at the atelier we measure it in a couple of minutes. If you're abroad, we post a simple ring sizer or sizing guide so you can measure at home and send us the result. Sizes can usually still be adjusted slightly after the ring is made.
From Zurich main station, take tram 2 or 3 to Kalkbreite, then it's a five-minute walk. From the airport, a train to the main station takes around 12 minutes, plus the tram. If you'd rather skip the trip entirely, ask about a video appointment first.
