I'm Cemil, the founder of émin. The name isn't mine: émin means trustworthy – and that's the standard I hold myself to. My mission: making getting married easier.
I can't find you a spouse. But the right ring – that we'll find together.
I know what it feels like to walk into a jeweller in Switzerland. I've been through it myself: you get sized up before you even sit down. Sales pressure instead of listening, and nobody really engages with what you want. Add prices that are often massively inflated. In the end you pay for something nobody explained to you, and you don't know what you actually got.
I know the same feeling from the old country. You buy, and you drive home with a knot in your stomach: is the quality right? Is the material really what was discussed?
At émin it's different. I'm a Swiss jeweller, registered in Switzerland, with my own responsibility mark at the Precious Metals Control. Fair prices, advice at eye level, every stone certified (IGI, GIA). I explain what you're buying until you truly understand it. And I take more time than you'd expect from a jeweller.

We believe a ring is more than a ring.

We know the feeling.
Being looked up and down at a Bahnhofstrasse display case as if you clearly can't afford the ring anyway. Ordering a piece from an online shop and hoping the stone delivers on its promise. Getting a tip from your uncle back home that ends somewhere between Istanbul and Pristina, and you still don't know what you bought.
It shouldn't be like that.
émin means trustworthy.
Not because it sounds good. But because it's what we let ourselves be measured by.
We won't pick your pocket. We won't push the more expensive stone when the simpler one is right. We take the time. We explain what C, F, VS1, IGI means, in plain English, no Latin, no show. We tell you what your money is worth before you spend it.
We don't make a stage out of it: a table, two chairs, an honest conversation – and as much time as it takes.
