Söz, Nişan, Fejesa, Nikah: the occasions we know
The occasions around engagement and marriage go by different names depending on the family and background: Söz or Nişan, Fejesa, or simply an engagement. For some families the Nikah is its own appointment, often marked with a ring or piece of jewellery. We tell you plainly what's customary for which occasion, without prescribing anything.
The Mahr is sometimes requested as an actual piece of jewellery rather than a plain sum. We advise you honestly on that too: what a certain weight in gold costs today, which setting suits it, and what's realistic for your budget. The decision is always yours, never ours.

On request we arrange a female consultant for the appointment, just mention it beforehand. The room at the atelier is quiet and not visible from the street, deliberately so.

What we don't offer
We don't offer ready-made bridal gold or 22-carat bangle sets. What we do: advise you honestly on rings, chains and sets in 18-carat gold, custom-made, with open purity, weight and today's gold price.
