Which metal suits your own design
Before you settle on a profile, it's worth thinking about the metal. Yellow gold, white gold, rose gold and platinum all read warmer or cooler on the skin and wear differently in daily life, and that often shapes your design more than the shape itself.
You don't need to agree on one shared metal. Many couples design two different metals, one for each hand, and match only the profile or engraving, so the rings still read clearly as a pair.

No, the consultation and the 3D design are part of the normal process and cost nothing extra. You only pay once you decide to go ahead with making the rings, before that you can compare calmly and ask for revisions more than once.
Yes, very much so. A photo from the internet, your own sketch, or a ring from the family often give us the best starting point. We work with you to translate your idea into a design that's actually feasible and comfortable to wear.
Plan for around four to six weeks in total, depending on how many rounds of changes you want on the design. If you have a fixed wedding date, tell us right at the start so we can plan the steps backwards from that.
Then we adjust it, at no cost to you. That's exactly what the 3D design is for: nothing is binding until you approve the making, and we'll change the shape, setting or metal as many times as it takes to get it right.
Yes, that can often be worked in, just mention it during the consultation. We check what's possible with the gold you already have and factor it into your design, so your wedding rings carry a piece of family history forward too.
