Solitaire, rivière, your own design
Diamond necklaces made to measure: from delicate to striking
A diamond necklace is often the piece of jewellery worn the most: close to the throat, visible, yet still personal. At émin we design your necklace or pendant to measure, from a delicate solitaire pendant to a striking rivière with several stones.
You decide how much diamond you want, we advise you on chain length, setting and metal, and calculate the price openly beforehand. No jargon, no pressure, just an honest conversation at the atelier in District 4 or by video.

Why choose a necklace from émin
Made to measure
We fit chain length, setting and pendant size to you, not to a standard size off the shelf.
Honest price
We show you what the stone, setting and chain each cost, no inflated price and no discount theatre.
Certified
Every larger diamond comes with an independent certificate, usually IGI, so you see exactly what you're buying.
Solitaire pendant or rivière: what's the difference
A solitaire pendant carries a single diamond on a fine chain, usually in a bezel or a small claw setting. It reads understated, pairs with almost anything, and is the most classic form of a diamond necklace.
A rivière sets several diamonds in a line, often graduated or of equal size. It reads more present and works well if you want a clearer statement without relying on a single large stone. We show you both with real stones before you decide.

A pendant of your own design
Not every idea fits a catalogue. If you have a particular shape in mind, a family piece as a reference, or your own idea for a pendant, we design it together with you, with a render you approve before anything is made.
An existing diamond, say from an inherited piece, can also be reset into a new necklace. We check the stone, advise you on the right setting, and tell you honestly what's possible and what isn't.
How your necklace comes together
Conversation
We listen to the look, the budget and the occasion you have in mind, in person or by video.
Design
You compare stones side by side and receive a design or render that you approve before any work begins.
Handover
You collect your finished necklace at the atelier, or we ship it insured, whichever suits you.
What a diamond necklace costs

Frequently asked questions
A necklace usually sits at or just below the collarbone, while a collier sits closer to the throat. In everyday use, the two terms are often interchangeable. We design either to measure and advise you on the length that suits your neck and neckline.
That depends on your personal taste and the pendant. As a guide, a pendant on a 42 to 45 centimetre chain usually sits at the collarbone, longer chains read more relaxed. We measure and try lengths together with you at the atelier, or show you the length on screen during a video call.
Yes, if you already own a diamond, say from a family piece, we check it and advise you on a suitable new setting. That way an old stone gets a new, personal home without you having to buy a new one.
Both are real diamonds, the difference lies in how they formed. A lab-grown diamond costs noticeably less at the same size and quality, which makes a real difference on a rivière with several stones. We show you both and explain the differences honestly.
Yellow gold, white gold and rose gold all work well, the choice mostly comes down to taste and the rest of your jewellery. We show you samples in all three colours in daylight, so you see how the diamond reads in each.
For a necklace made to measure we usually plan two to three weeks, a rivière with several stones can take a little longer. If you need it for a specific occasion, tell us right at the start.
Yes, larger diamonds come with an independent certificate, usually IGI. For a rivière with several smaller stones we confirm quality and origin in writing on the invoice, even where not every single stone carries its own certificate.
